running a fundraiser?
Simple, you just need to activate your program with us by calling 1-800-426-7732.
A personal representative will verify your organization and/or school name and the
program for which you are raising funds. We will answer any questions you may have
and send out all the information and materials you need to get started. Who

answer your questions, provide advice, and handle all of your customer service needs. Are
these prices for real? How can you afford to offer the same magazines as other fundraising

You don't pay for high-pressure sales reps, gimmicks, sweepstakes, expensive
advertising, or cheap giveaways. We offer you popular titles at low prices - no frills,
just a broad selection of magazines that appeal to all of your supporters. Can
we renew a magazine through rschools if we ordered it elsewhere?
Yes. We can place renewals for any magazine on our lists. To insure that
you don't miss any issues, renew at least 4 months prior to expiration. It can take
up to 12 weeks to process a renewal subscription. Can
you send someone out to our school to help us with our fundraising program?
We have personal representatives available by phone to help you every
step of the way. You need only call us, toll-free, at 1-800-426-7732 and a representative
will assist you. Our office hours are 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Pacific Time. We do not
have field, or onsite, representatives. We communicate with you by telephone and e-mail.
Our service is unsurpassed. Without field reps we are able to pass along higher profitability
for your fundraising efforts. What
happens if we have an over- or underpayment with our orders?
rschools programs are incredibly simple to reconcile. All checks for subscriptions
sold are made payable to your organization. We provide a simple reconciliation sheet
that helps ensure accuracy. A detailed confirmation letter is then sent back to you
within 2 weeks of placing your orders. If there are errors this confirmation will
reflect any discrepancies in payment. Payment due to rschools can be mailed in; credits
can be used against your next batch of orders or you can request a refund to balance
out your account. You can call up at anytime to check on your balance, we will be
glad to help you. Does
it really take 12 weeks for our subscriptions to begin?
Although the average time for new subscriptions to start is 6-8 weeks,
the length of time does vary depending on the publisher and can take up to 12 weeks.
Magazines ordered from the first of October through the end of the year usually take
the longest due to increased holiday sales volumes. We process all orders to the publishers
the same week they are received in our office. Will
updates on magazine offers and information be available at your website?
Yes, we will keep updated offers on our website, www.rschools.net.
You may request the updated information by filling in the Get Started page to receive
our current promotions. Can
we place subscriptions to magazines for two years instead of one?
In most cases no, we are authorized to sell only what is listed. The only
exception to this is if the magazine is listed on our promotion for more than one
year. Unfortunately, we cannot accept subscriptions with terms that are not listed
in our catalog. Can I
order subscriptions for my relatives that live in another country?
The only orders rschools can process outside the US are APO & FPO
addresses and other American territories such as Guam and Puerto Rico. Our
organization has a hard time getting everyone involved in fundraisers, how will this
program be different?
Because you are not asking your supporters to pay for something they would
not already be paying for anyway. By renewing their subscriptions through your group,
supporters are not only most likely saving money but they are helping a good cause.
Remember you are not asking them to order overpriced or unwanted items.
In addition, magazines are educational products that are interesting.
Ask a couple of students if they would rather sell chocolate or something that they
have an interest in too. Not surprisingly, kids are much more inclined to get behind
something they find interesting and "cool." Do
you think it is a good idea to have contests or give away prizes to sellers?
You bet, whatever works. Sellers seem to do better when they have a goal
they are going after. You know what will work best to motivate your sellers. Often,
simple acknowledgement within the school for the kids who raised the most money provides
immense satisfaction for their efforts. Many of our schools post a top ten list in
the hallways and main office.
